Nidhi is a hotelier turned yoga instructor. She has done her 500hrs advanced yoga teacher training course from Sivananda Ashrams and is a certified wellness instructor from Ayush, ministry of India. Having trained multi-cultural staff in hotels, understanding individual needs and teaching comes naturally to her. She is currently pursuing anatomy training and teaches yoga to school children.
Beyond Asanas
At Yoga-Darshini we believe that Yoga is a powerful holistic tool whose practice is not restricted to the mat alone. By integrating ‘off-the mat’ aspects of Yoga into essential practice, Yoga-Darshini strives to take Yoga beyond asanas to foster improved physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
About Us
Yoga-Darshini was initiated on the directive of Param Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda of Chinmaya Mission.
It was so named by Him to underscore its purpose of seeing and showing the glory of Yoga.
It is an offering of love and gratitude to the Masters and an opportunity to serve through the life changing teachings of yoga.
Meet the Team
Born and raised in Chennai, Aruna VN has degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as Business Administration. After working in top international commercial banks for several years, she decided to pursue yoga & Vedanta.
Aruna obtained her training certification from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Madurai in December 2016 and has been teaching yoga ever since.
In February 2020, she completed an intensive Sadhana course, to further deepen her knowledge and skills. Her training as a triathlete and marathon runner further provides her with a unique advantage in designing yoga sessions and classes.
Through yoga, Aruna has worked with diverse groups – corporates, educational institutions, students with special needs & their caregivers, runners, yoga studios and also individuals looking to improve their overall health and well-being.
An ardent student of Vedanta, Aruna reveres the practice of Yoga, not only for physical & mental well-being, but also for the evolution of the Self.

Veda

Veda started practising yoga seriously about 10 years ago, eventually training as a teacher at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram in a 200 hour residential course recognised by Yoga Alliance. Veda teaches mostly online with students from different parts of the world – India, the UK, Europe, Australia and the US. She experiences yoga as a spiritual practice and teach to pass on what she receives – a sense of stability, being grounded, and a deeper connection within.
Vidya Bhuvan Sundar

Vidya is certified Hatha Yoga Teacher with more than 8 years of experience. She also specializes in yoga instruction for individuals with Bone and Joint conditions, Menstrual issues, Circulatory and Respiratory ailments.
Known for her authenticity and a non-judgmental teaching style, Vidya strives to ensure that her yoga students make progress not just physically but also spiritually.

Her nutrition programmes feature a holistic approach to help people regain their health and well-being. She helps people in achieving their health goals, without compromising on the healthy relationship with food!

Sofia is an MBA graduate whose yoga journey began in 2012. She is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor and also a Ashtanga Vinayasa Yoga and Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga specialist.
Sofia is passionate about making the art, science and spirituality of yoga accessible to everyone and everybody. This is reflected in her adaptive and highly student-specific teaching style.
